STAR WARS – DUEL

STORYBOARD

A lightsaber duel scene from the Star Wars universe. Indeed, this franchise offers a wide variety of situations when it comes to constructing duel scenes.

Here, the challenge is primarily to make the action clear and dynamic, particularly through specific work on spatialization and the synthesis of key poses.

We follow the confrontation between two partners after one of them has been corrupted by a relic of the dark side.

A few panels from an ambush scene in a canyon.

To avoid the display of explicit violence, the tension of the scene is built on a visual hierarchy between the assailant and the victim.

2D ANIMATION

2D animated short film made on paper as part of my studies at ECIB (Escola de Cine de Barcelona) in 2018.

This first experience as a short film director led me to work on all the stages of production: writing the script, designing the storyboard, creating the characters and the environments, animation, composition and post-production, etc.

Here, we follow Céleste, a little girl who walks on immense paths in the sky. Céleste gets a treasure map from her parents indicating the path to follow to reach happiness. But her journey, full of obstacles and surprises, will push her to her limits…

2D ANIMATION

2D digital animated short film made during my Master’s degree at ECIB (Escola de Cine de Barcelona) between 2019 and 2020.

In order to deepen my know-how, I also participated in a large part of the production stages: storyboard design, environment creation, animation, composition and post-production.

Here, we follow a teddy bear who every night protects his child from a monster that haunts the room.
